The intern will work with the Interactive Media and Outreach department to learn the current workflow of the department’s media editing lab and analyze and suggest better approaches to workflow.
This is a Spring semester internship and can be full-time or part-time. This internship has a mid-January start date (flexible) and the length of the internship depends on full-time or part-time status.

Responsibilities Role PurposeAs an Archive Research Coordinator you will be responsible for researching and cataloging titles in preparation for the QC process. This research includes identification of titles, metadata about assets, and issue resolution per the QC results. Coordinators should have a strong understanding and knowledge of Excel. They must also be able to understand, and execute various procedures involving title research in a Digital Asset Management system, comprehensive tracking of a multitude of assets, and issue resolution such as metadata accuracy, quality, duplicity, and other discrepancies. The Coordinator will have entertainment archive or asset experience and passion for working with data, customer service and order driven deadlines. The Coordinator needs to be able to effectively communicate issues to management and the QC team, and must be adaptable, as our project priorities often change at a moment’s notice. Knowledge of digital file formats (video, audio, captions, subtitles, etc.) and strong knowledge of Film & Television are all a plus.
