Basic Function Manages, plans, and develops WPI library’s digital archives and institutional repository, including collections of faculty and student scholarship, digital cultural and data collections, digital exhibits, and digital publishing systems and services.

Collaboratively determines user functions, interfaces, and services for digital archives and repositories, partnering closely with WPI’s Information Technology team and with WPI faculty and students.

Works closely with other Library Services units and staff, including the Impact & Innovation Department, to integrate digital archives and repository systems into the library’s overall service offerings, from instruction to discovery to preservation and research. Continue reading

Description

The intern will work with the Interactive Media and Outreach department to learn the current workflow of the department’s media editing lab and analyze and suggest better approaches to workflow.

This is a Spring semester internship and can be full-time or part-time. This internship has a mid-January start date (flexible) and the length of the internship depends on full-time or part-time status.

On the Program Choices page of the application, rank between one and three Project Choices you are interested in based on the names below. APPLICATION CLOSES SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 19.
