ARRI Restoration (Standort München Grünwald) sucht ab sofort zwei Praktikanten für den Bereich Film Restaurierung und Remastering. Fachliches Interesse und Grundwissen ist Voraussetzung und Kenntnisse im Bereich der digitalen Bildbearbeitung sind von Vorteil. Besonders würden wir uns freuen über Bewerbungen von Absolventen/Studenten eines Filmpreservation Studiengangs. Das Praktikum soll 6 Montane mindestens dauern und maximal ein Jahr. We are looking for a great intern to join our Library & Archives team for the fall semester. The internship offers the opportunity to engage with all aspects of a production-based archives, including cataloging and processing born digital video. This is a paid, part-time position (minimum commitment of 15 hrs/week, max 35 hrs/week), based in Washington, DC. Applicants must be enrolled in a degree-seeking program; graduate-level coursework in Library Science or Audiovisual Preservation is preferred. Most people know StoryCorps from the 3-minute clips heard on NPR every Friday morning, or perhaps the animations seen on POV and PBS. Few realize that StoryCorps has a robust archival collection that is carefully maintained by the Recording and Archive Department.

The StoryCorps Recording & Archive Department maintains the in-house archive, coordinates transfers of materials to the Library of Congress, and manages the upkeep of recording venues and equipment.
