Position Objective: To assist PETA’s AV Archives with the arrangement, description, and usage rights management of digital and analog audiovisual materials to ensure long-term preservation and accessibility. To act as a point of reference for material in the archives. Primary Responsibilities and Duties: • Researching and delivering archived media for audiovisual projects. • Archive digital photos and videos according to the established practices for PETA’s AV Archives • Append detailed metadata to digital files to enhance searchability • Ensure that usage rights for AV material is verified and documented • Handle photo requests and usage rights inquiries from various departments and PETA’s affiliates • Assist with other archives projects as needed
